Grass Valley Demonstrates its Powerful EDIUS Pro 7 Editing Software at Japan’s CP+ 2015 Show

MONTREAL, February 9, 2015 — Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, will demonstrate its EDIUS Pro 7 multiformat nonlinear editing software at this year's CP+ 2015 Camera & Photo Imaging Show to be held February 12–15 at the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Center in Yokohama, Japan. EDIUS Pro 7 is the fastest and most versatile real-time editing software — 4K, 3D, HD, SD and almost any format from 24x24 to 4Kx2K, all on the same timeline. Grass Valley will be exhibiting EDIUS Pro 7 and the EDIUS Turnkey system on a pod in the "Video Area for Professionals".

EDIUS Pro 7 is open to third-party hardware from Blackmagic Design, Matrox and AJA Video Systems. EDIUS Pro 7 also supports AAF project import/export color correction interchange with DaVinci Resolve for a new color grading workflow. This opens new doors for EDIUS users by giving them the flexibility to integrate into a wide variety of environments with one editing 
interface. 
EDIUS Pro 7 will also be showcased at the EOS hands-on area at Canon Inc./Canon Marketing Japan Inc.'s booth, G-02.

On Feb. 23, YouTube made its new kid-focused app available for iOS devices as well, and the original story has been updated accordingly.
SAN FRANCISCO -- YouTube is a repository of clips that range from exceedingly educational to suggestively explicit. So to make sure younger fans of Google's online video library have a more age-appropriate experience, its engineers have come up with a new app called YouTube Kids.
The free app launches Feb. 23, and is available for Android and iOS devices.
"Parents were constantly asking us, can you make YouTube a better place for our kids," says Shimrit Ben-Yair, the project's group product manager, noting that family-friendly fare is a booming business on YouTube. "(Year over year) we've seen 50% growth in viewing time on YouTube, but for our family entertainment channels, it's more like 200%."
